CNC Fixed Head Facility
The majority of our machines are high performance multi-axis with powered milling tooling which enable us to machine all the features of a turned part, including any milling in a single cost effective operation. In addition, our fixed head lathes allow us to produce larger diameter components up to 250mm. Continual investment in the latest machine tools means we can significantly reduce our cycle times, thereby reducing costs and lead times for our clients. Our quality, precision work and production processes has gained us ISO 9001 certification, meaning you can trust us to produce mission critical parts for the most strenuous industrial applications.
Established in 1997 with a single Citizen sliding head lathe, we now operate 17 CNC lathes at our site in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. We are central to the UK for efficient distribution and rapid turnaround. Our strategy of long term investment in the latest generation high speed machinery and our commitment to invest and manufacture within the UK, underpins HPC's mission to produce the highest quality components to our clients. We have around 30 members of staff at HPC and a further 50 at our sister company Hemlock Engineering Ltd (CNC Milling) with both companies specialising in the high speed machining of almost any material, including stainless steel, brass, aluminium and various plastics.

With a total of 45 CNC turning and milling machines across the group we are one of the largest subcontractors in the East Midlands. Heavy investment in the very latest CNC technology machines and our precision engineering expertise means we produce high quality, high precision complex components efficiently and at a competitive price whatever your requirements.
